Programs

1. Slum Education Program
The program aimed to provide environment to slum children where they can receive basic education. The program was implemented in two slums of Delhi for about six months. It could not continue due mainly to the lack of the level of support that was required for the sustenance and growth of any such program. The write-ups of the program are missing. I hope that I recover some of them.

2. University Coordination Program
This is a reflection program. Under this program we propose to set communication process between Universities, the teachers and the students working in the field of education in their own locality. This will be actualized (a) through intensive communication with University teachers and students and (b) through encouraging and highlighting the importance of their work and involvement in this field. The target is to bring closer to all those who are working in the field of basic education in different universities so that they could be benefited by mutual exchange of thoughts and experience. It is also proposed that in this process the interested and active scholars will be identified and will be encouraged to conduct workshops.

3. Educationally Adapted Community Program
India is facing the problem of large scale migration from villages to towns and cities. There are many reasons for this large scale migration. One of the main reasons is the faulty educational feedback. The message that should reach to every young mind is how to be self sustained in village setup, but this is what the students do not get in education, rather they in the process of learning, directly or indirectly develops a desire of joining urban society. The result is that the rural society is increasingly becoming less adaptable for educated people. So there is an urgent need to make village society more and more adaptable for its educated people. For this the educational subject matters should be reformulated and awareness programs should be launched.
