Common Speeches:

If you want to be a good speaker, you need to be a good listener also. This section contains some common speeches of both Hindi and Urdu. A sizable part of which is common in Hindustani. We here talk about mainly two types of speeches (i.e., common situations and common expressions). Both help learners a lot in interacting and developing intimate and lively talking relations with Hindi-Urdu speakers.

Common situations: Common situations contains situational expressions like what and how to talk at some common identifiable situations (e.g., Greetings, Meeting, Parting, Making Inquiries, Request, Expressions to initiate dialogues and other common situations). Most of the situational exercises given here are those which Hindi-Urdu speakers normally use in these situations.

Common Expressions: Common Expressions help learners specially in filling the gaps in mostly informal talking. These expressions also reflect attitude towards some event or information received. It makes speakers and listeners interaction smooth and responsive. Quite many of them are like spontaneous reactions and even reflect moods. Some such expressions are modified forms of words and some of them are not even words, but they occur quite frequently in the speeches of Hindi-Urdu speakers. They convey implicit, explicit or contextual meaning.
